Desiree Soucy, BCPC
Intern Counselor
Desiree has been ministering to individuals navigating relational pain and brokenness within the local church for over twenty years. During that time, she has seen the Lord heal his children from the mental, emotional, and spiritual effects of pain stemming from many types of childhood wounds. Desiree loves helping others understand their identity in Christ so they can experience his deep, unfailing, extravagant love for them. She is passionate about helping followers of Jesus connect to and become rooted in this love so they can be healed, transformed, and set free through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Desiree is a board-certified pastoral counselor and is available to serve clients from adolescence through adulthood. Desiree is most experienced in helping others process abuse, trauma, and relational challenges of various forms, including premarital and marriage counseling. She is also familiar with the challenges faced by blended families and those navigating divorce. Desiree’s approach centers on compassionate, empathetic listening to create a safe space in which clients can process their pain before the Lord.

Desiree and her husband, Paul, have been married for twenty-three years and are parents of four children. In her free time, Desiree enjoys exploring the city with her husband, reading, and working puzzles.
