A nearby place to get support.
JoyCare offers Christian counseling for people living in Cary who want biblical guidance for personal struggles, relationships, or family life. Our office is in Wake Forest; Cary residents can ask about online appointments or arrange to meet at that office. We do not have a Cary office.
Finding a counselor involves more than choosing a location. Consider the concerns being brought to counseling, the counselor’s relevant experience, and whether their approach makes room for honest conversation. At JoyCare, Christian faith informs the work while each person’s history, relationships, and goals help shape its direction.
We support individuals, couples, teens, and families. Explore individual counseling, couples counseling, or teen counseling to understand the options before reaching out.
Support for the concerns you are actually carrying.
Anxiety & Depression
When your mind will not quiet down and hope feels far away.
Trauma & Healing
When the past still feels present and you are ready to explore why.
Marriage & Relationships
When connection has become harder and the same conflict keeps repeating.
In-person or online
An online appointment can fit around work, school, and family responsibilities without a trip to Wake Forest. Set aside a private place and time for the conversation, and tell us where sessions would take place when making an inquiry. Andrew Rowley and Teresa Lockwood provide online services; their counselor profiles describe their experience and areas of focus.

Finding support for your circumstances
For Cary residents seeking specific support, our men’s counseling page introduces Madison Beresford and Andrew Rowley, while the women’s counseling page introduces Desiree Soucy and Teresa Lockwood. Those pages explain the concerns each service addresses and link to the counselors’ backgrounds.
Start by identifying the concern that needs attention: individual stress or grief, relationship strain, parenting questions, or support for a teen. Our service overview explains the options, and our FAQ covers first appointments and choosing a counselor. Specific experience matters as much as convenience when deciding where to begin.
